...The Audley pub in London's Mayfair has probably had its fair share of tourists from across the Atlantic.

But when First Lady Michelle Obama led her two daughters into the traditional pub for fish and chips last night even the normally unflappable staff were left gobsmacked.

Staff told...of their astonishment as Mrs Obama and her daughters Malia, 10, and eight-year-old Sasha traipsed into the bar....

If Princess Diana or even Fergie had dressed like this the British press would have fried them! This is the First Lady ( and I use the term lose here) and this is how she represents our nation? She looks like something out of a sewing bag of left over fabric. Good Lord..
On the other hand...... snicker snicker. She is so thick she does not get it or does not care..here comes expensive hippiedom high fashion..what fun.

I just came from Barnes and Nobel where I looked at a book about the fashion icon MO. I learned that she is 5'11” tall and she has even more bad looking outfits that we knew. I did see her in a really great looking dress. It was black, maybe some jersey like fabric, ankle length, with a swirly skirt maybe several lengths, nice. I will be happy to compliment her when she looks good but that hasn't happened very many times that I know of.

I forgot to say, in the book they explained the belts. It is because she is so tall, it is supposed to make her look shorter, I guess.

Are they going to pay the salaries of the Secret Service and the fuel for the USAF jet that takes them from one location to another?I doubt it.

they pay the cost of flying commercial... WE pick up the rest... all 15 flew over on 757 military transport — that is more than commercial.

There was an article yesterday, I believe that stated she was paying for the trip out of their own money. Even if she paid for the meals & hotel rooms and such, the taxpayers are still paying for her Secret Service and her flights.
