This, sports fans, is HUGH!

The Roosevelt assault on capitalism was stopped by the Supreme Court, but this refusal to even hear the case makes it clear that the current Supreme Court is not up to the task to stopping Obama.

Fundamentally, it's over for the republic. Unless the military steps in, which it won't, Obama will have done so much damage to the rule of law, the economy and the country that even if the Democrats lose control of Congress in 2010 (which also probably won't happen), it will take two generations to undo the damage. Worse, by 2012, we won't have a real election. The Republicans are worthless -- and I say this having supported the party since Eisenhower!

So, is it time to have the discussion about “the boxes” (soapbox, ballot box, cartridge box)?

BTW, good to see you around again, FRiend...

I think, sadly, you may be right... though I would LOVE for my fellow servicemen to put their feet down and say “NO! Not on my watch!”

The oath is not to a person, organization, or group of people; it is to the Constitution.

“Unless the military steps in, which it won’t,”

I don’t think there is a legal way for the military to act.

They’d have to break with existing law and lots of tradition to do that.

Few if any soldiers would follow a gaggle of rogue generals and colonels.
