Reagan understood the media and how to use it to his advantage and milk it for all it was worth. Even the liberal media. He knew how to control it and to get it to work for him rather than against him for the most part. He was a true master at communication and political saavy. We need another just as smart in those areas.
Without it, we're sunk again in 2012.
I really liked Guiliani and Thompson after they both dropped out. Guiliani was masterful in his media appearances as was Thompson, even Gingrich did well.
Of course, they are all either too old, or too damaged to run again, but we have to pick someone that can make the media inquisitors look as stupid as they really are.
