It’s ok for the most part. I don’t get why he thinks we should abolish the electoral college. That’s one of the few institutions that stands in the path of the kind of tyrannical demagogues like the one we currently have to deal with. Getting rid of it would take what little say the rural and smaller states have in elections and throw it in the trash.

Agreed, it needs to stay. I also disagree with “universal service”, that is un-American. What we need to do instead is return to ethics and education that results in good citizens that want to serve their country. A bit tougher task there. ;-)

It is amazing how many great patriots we have in the younger generation though - only due to good parenting of course!

I agree. As soon as he said that, I turned him off.

Not only that, he says something to the effect that we the people have to get back to electing the President. Insinuating that at one time, there was a direct election of the President. We may have to forgive him since I believe he was in France helping out their revolution at the time of the writing of the constitution.

One thing he could have said along these lines was abolish the 17th amendment and lets get back to the states selecting senators. I'd much rather have the Senators allegiance to the states than George Soros or Acorn.

I disagree with his call for abolishing the electoral college and for universal service. I want a military that is proud to do their job, a job they have chosen to do.
