As Peggy Shapiro noted, Obama--and others--are perfectly content to demand the uprooting and removal of over 200,000 Israeli/Jewish citizens from towns and cities, (ie, ethnic cleansing), that Arabs want for their "Palestinian" state as a beginning for peace.
No mention is made, no uproar over this Judenrein demand although it is another example of Arab apartheid and racism. However imagine the shrieks if Israel made the same demand. Israeli cartoonist Ya'akov Kirschen graphically illustrates.
Yes folks, most Arab nations ban Jews from living in their countries; from "moderate" Jordan to "radical" Saudi Arabia, while others place severe personal and religious restrictions on the few remaining Jews.
In contrast, over 20% of Israel's population is Arab, who are free to practice various forms of Islam or Christianity. But not a peep of protest about the former comes from the mouths or internet sites of the human "rights" crew while shouts of apartheid instantly roar from the anti Israel crowd when Israel takes preventive measures if Israeli Arabs commit terrorism.

The solution is as clear as pimple on a person’s face. If the islamic palis want a state then let their islamic brothers with land and money out their ying yang give it to them. If Jordan or Syria won’t take the troublesome palis, then let Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Libya, and all the surrounding islamic countries, who altogether are 640 times the size of Israel, set up a fund and each donate money and one of them donates land instead and build the a**hole troublemakers a city. Save the rest the world the bother. Otherwise, go on an ethnic cleansing and clean the palis out. Problem solved!

The problem here is that those other Arab and Muslim states will not and never will take those Palestinians into their own countries. To do so would be to take a big problem off Israel’s hands and they’re not about to do that. They know very well that they don’t have to take these Palestinians in and they never will. And they know that as long as those Palestinians are there, that this is a thorn in Israel’s side. That’s why the Palestinians are always going to be there.
Furthermore, Israel can’t take those Palestinians in to their own state, so this forces Israel to allow the Palestinians to have their own state. Besides that, Israel has already started on the process of allowing them to have their own state, a very long time ago and they’ve got agreements and commitments to it.
And Israel is *stuck* with these Palestinians, because they were there when these lands were taken over by Israel in the Six Day War. There’s no way for Israel to get rid of them. There’s no mechanism for it and there’s no country that will take them.
Israel is boxed into giving them a state and that’s the way it’s going to turn out.
Netanyahu has already agreed to keeping Israel’s prior commitments. He just wants the Palestinians to keep theirs, too, and that’s what he is “holding out for” right now....
There are already two states: Israel and Jordan. There are no Israeli settlements in Jordan. Problem solved. Next?

In a normal and conventional sense, then this would be true, in the long run. Eventually the Muslims will overrun them.
What makes the “equation” different, in this case is that God has already said that Israel will go through these times and that it will be purified through fire and that He will save a “remnant” of Israel for the time when the Messiah of Israel returns and sets up the Kingdom for Israel over all the nations of the world.
Israel will have to go through these times, but in the end, it’s the Messiah of Israel who comes and goes to war and physically destroys the Muslims nations and kills millions upon millions of them.
Israel won’t have a solution that will “work” — but in the end, God will — basically because the Messiah of Israel comes back to this earth and literally destroys all the Muslim nations.

The only problem is that Jordan gave up any interest or right or claim to the West Bank (which they had and controlled and was part of their country before the Six Day War) and gave it all over to the “Palestinians”...
So, Jordan won’t take the Palestinians into the nation of Jordan, since they agreed to give up all claims to the land that Israel took over, with those Palestinians in it. And..., no one can actually *make* any other country take in the Palestinians, anyway.
You make a “sound bite” that has no reality in fact, or the “facts on the ground” over there.
The bottom line is that Israel is *stuck* with the Palestinians whether they like it or not, because the land that Israel won in the Six Day War had all those Palestinians living in it. And that’s the reason why Israel will be giving the Palestinians their own state — in order to keep them out of the state of Israel (and believe me, the Israelis don’t want millions of additional Palestinians voters inside the state of Israel...).
Soundbite or not, the Palis are mostly Jordanian and Egyptian citizens or descendants thereof. Israel should clear out Gaza and the West Bank for its own use and send the Palis home: to Jordan and Egypt.

In Jordan, you’re talking about Arafat and his group trying to take over Jordan, and it was called (that event and date) — Black September...
With Egypt, they’ve got another terrorist group that named something with “brotherhood” in it (can’t remember now...).
But, they’re all from the same mold and it all has nothing to do with “Palestinians” but rather with Islam and what the teachings of Islam are. This kind of attitude is far beyond just the borders and people who are named Palestinians.
BUT — Israel has a problem with that *specific group* named (and popularly recognized) as “Palestinians” because Israel conquered land in a war and got those people, who were living on that land, in the process of conquering it.
So..., it’s Israel’s problem and no one else’s, because it’s land that Israel controls, as a result of war.
Thus, the question for Israel is what are they going to do with people that were living on land that they won in the Six Day War, since no other nation wants to take them into their country.
Israel can either take them into Israel — or — Israel can set up another state for them to live in. And it’s obvious that Israel does *not* want them living in Israel proper....

Home is where they were living when Israel took over the land. One day they woke up and — all of a sudden — they were living “under Israel”. It happened that fast. And Jordan gave that piece of land to the Palestinians, and in signed agreements doing so. Thus, the Palestinians do have that expectation that the land that Israel conquered and land that Jordan thus decided to give up all claims to in the future and give it to the Palestinians, themselves.
And since Israel does not want them inside of Israel proper and voting in Israeli elections — because it would change the “Jewish character” of the nation of Israel — you can see the handwriting on the wall..., in that Israel is going to have them in their own “state” and *not* in the State of Israel.
