Update on SSG Dusty and 1Lt Becky....
My daughter is in Germany (Becky) The last operation worked. They can find no leakage of the spinal fluid, the only damage to the spinal cord appears to be swelling since his back was broken in two places. There were no outside fragments in him. His vehicle was blown over by a mine and he was thrown about in the vehicle. There was no secondary fire.
Although some feeling seems to be moving down his actual body, there is no feeling below his waist yet. He is to be shipped to Walter Reed on Friday and Becky will be on the aircraft with him.
Thanks again for all the prayers and go ahead and post this if you like.
Prayers continue for Sgt. Dusty that he might recover fully
from his injuries and that his pain might be minimal. I pray
that he won’t be in any way paralized by his injuries.
Prayers also for a safe journey for him and Becky back to
the States and to Walter Reed. There are FReepers there who
could give him/them comfort.
