I think this is generally true, but not the point of an absolute as you state. I have met at least a few Jewish people who do urge particular Christians, their offspring, to renounce Christ.

This is the news forum, not the religion forum, so I don't want to belabor this. But surely you must understand that a Jewish apostate is different than a Christian, and that a Jew counceling a family member who has left the faith, for any religion, not just Christianity, as to the reprecussions is quite different that the statement I responded to, which was that Jews try to convince Christians to abandon Christ, or some such nonsense. I didn't bother to go back and quote it.
