What’s really hard to understand is how Bobby Rahal, who has always been a class act in the car racing community, continues to link his name with this creep in Rahal-Letterman Racing. They now compete only in the American LeMans Series, having withdrawn from Indy Car due to lack of sponsorship. ( Looks like race sponsors are a whole lot smarter than TV sponsors.)
Rahal Letterman Racing did participate in the Indianapolis 500 this year. When the announcer pointed him out on the big screens (since he’s a celebrity), the crowds weren’t overly impressed with him (not much cheering).....and Letterman is actually from Indiana. Florence Henderson and Jim Nabors received lots of cheering. Go figure.
