Good post, greyfoxx!! Just watched it. AZ won’t accept NM driver licenses now and come 2011, they will not be accepted for airline travel ID!!
Larry Barker’s a great investigative reporter. After Richardson was elected he exposed his appointment of his political cronies and contributors to state personnel positions (vs. exempt positions always filled by an incoming governor) even shoving aside long time civil service employees and rewarding Bill’s buddies with much higher salaries than the classified person they replaced.
I just flew back Monday from Sky Harbor...didn't have anyone question my driver's license, thank God!

wow - I wonder when New Mexico’s citizens will be fed up with the corruption.
Tangential Thought: What if we moved the state capitol... maybe to Silver City or Socorro or Las Cruces (someplace other than Sante Fe or Albuquerque, IMO Las Cruces would be the worst option besides Albuquerque because if the city’s corruption and drunkenness-on-power [Codes and such]). That would jar the current entrenchments as well as force the new state capitol to consider the rest of the state.
Silver City has a lot of lafties and getting more all the time- Las Cruces has lots of lefties and too many that left elsewhere because they didn’t like it and are trying their best to make LC over just like the place they left.
So, is that why LC has gotten worse? Probably...
I’m not sure about silver City, the reason I offered it up is `cause it’s out in the middle of nowhere.
...but apparently almost as corrupt.
