What complaint? The article merely used him as an example of a teacher having to adapt to a change. Lighten up on the guy.

Seems straightforward. He complains. Shortly thereafter he resigns, then gets a job in another State. After only one year, in which as a new teacher, he doesn’t conform to what the rest of the department is doing, the district decides not to retain him. So he again goes to the media to complain.

Given this, his politics wouldn’t even have mattered. Teachers do not take their fights to the media, and new teachers to not blow off their department chair. That he had taught 19 years in Arkansas matters not a bit in Kansas.
