Which information "fairtax"? Just think about it, and think where government is already collecting tax, be it income tax, sales tax or manufacturing tax, tariffs, duties etc. Government will NOT give up taxing these things. Sure, they'll slap a "fairtax at a higher rate in it's place. But be sure that a fairtax will be on ALL goods that trade ALL hands, not just at the Joe public consumer retail level. Government adores collecting tax on tax, and a fairtax would be no different.
