Gettin’ captured was the best thing that ever happened to these creeps!
They fight or attempt to fight on the battle field. We for some strange reason take prisoners on the battle field, send them to GITMO where they receive three meals a day, medical attention, laptops and cable tv. So much more than what they got hiding in the mountains eating rice and weeds.
We Americans put up with all the crap from around the world and more importantly from the dainty arab world about how we are treating these fighters inhumanly.
Our Presidents, congressmen/women get on national talk shows and beg the world for our forgiveness for treating these fighters so wrongly. Again, look at the benefits of being captured by the US.
No one seems to care, especially in the US of how these fighters that capture our guys or hostages and cut off their heads. Just recently we allowed someone to go in Iraq that killed an American Soldier so as to build up our credibility with the arab world.
We now are relocating some 275 prisoners with all kinds of great incentives to the Country that takes these fighters all at the expense of the American People.
What about our men and women that have died so far in these wars or have been injured, what do they get? Nothing in comparison than what these fighers are getting.
We didn’t ask for this War on Terror, but we are in it. With what we are doing in GITMO and Iraq with releasing prisoners or giving them rights as ordinary US Citizens, makes you wonder if we really want to win it.
Prosecute our American Soldiers and send the fighters to some great Islands where they will live in luxury. We should instead be sending them to meet their maker in the paradise they so often desire.
