Correct....fear is what this is about.

Fear is making them make mistakes,
a self replicating cycle.
When you rule by fear, what do you do when those you
rule become unafraid.

You know they are trapped when they gnaw their own legs off.

Very well put.

Snippet from the Washington Times article:

“But if members of the armed forces, police and especially Revolutionary Guards decided to switch sides, then one can begin speaking of revolution.”

If only we had a president who believed in freedom and knew that the current iranian gov’t is a monster.

Here might be a move to payback the iranian gov’t for all the shiite they caused in Iraq: Secretly get word to the iranian army that we would recognize a new gov’t if they overthrew the mullahs and would lend material assistance if needed.

Purging the military is a galvanizing act. It can go either way. Depends on how well respected the purged are.

Thanks.

I tried to find it being I thought it might be an article or some such easily found via a search, but no luck. Sadly, I would love to read or have read his analysis for his take on dissention within the Republican Guards. Very interesting, nonetheless. Thanks again.

He said his source within Iran said that the IRGC was afraid that they were going to be hit by US and iSraeli forces because of the actions of Yabadabado.

This is what I posted in March of 2008

Timmerman tells Bob Grant: Obama and Clinton secretly negotiating with Iran
Bob Grant show | 03.07.08 | Perdogg

Posted on Friday, March 07, 2008 9:04:13 PM by Perdogg

Author Kenneth Timmermann was on Bob Grant’s radio show tonight and he said that both the Obama and Clinton campaigns were secretly negotiating with the Iranian Islamic Republic.

Timmermann said his source said that Obama has promised to recognized the Islamic Republic of Iran in exchange for a scale down nuclear weapons program. It also included what influence Iran would have in Iraq.

The Islamic Republic believes that Obama has a better chance in the winning the election.

I have heard Timmermann before and he seems to be a credible person even though he writes for Newsmax. He throughly documents and sources what he says.

It doesn’t really matter whether they love him or hate him.
IRGC are loyal to Khamenei.
Their job is to protect the Revolution, ie the Supreme Leader.

“Analysis: Bracing for the purge in an Iran reeling from internal disunity”
By SABINA AMIDI, SPECIAL TO THE JERUSALEM POST
TEHERAN

SNIPPET: “Four days after the disputed presidential elections, prominent supporters of “defeated” candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi are bracing for a harsher backlash once the international media spotlight has moved on.”

SNIPPET: “Numerous pro-reform government officials have already been arrested, reportedly including the brother of former president Mohammad Khatami, and there is still confusion surrounding the whereabouts of Mousavi himself.

Speaking of Khatami, who dropped out of this year’s presidential race to support his friend Mousavi, the “landslide” margin of incumbent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s purported victory is similar to that of Khatami’s two sweeping electoral successes - in 1997 and 2001.”
