Obama repeated Tuesday at a news conference his "deep concerns" about the disputed balloting. He said he believes the ayatollah's decision to order an investigation "indicates he understands the Iranian people have deep concerns." But at the same time, Obama said it would not be helpful if the United States was seen by the world as "meddling" in the issue.

Obama not only wants to observe and see how Iran handles the protesters, but he also wants to see how other countries react to whatever Iran does. This will greatly influence him on how to handle us when the time comes.

Sarkozy doesn't have a problem "meddling". What in the hell has the world come too when the president of France has bigger stones than the president of the United States?

Sarkozy denounces 'fraud' in Iran elections

French President Nicolas Sarkozy has questioned the legitimacy of Iran's election, saying the "extent of the fraud" was "proportional to the violent reaction" there. Tehran has seen massive protests since Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was declared the winner.

AFP - French President Nicolas Sarkozy questioned the legitimacy of Iran's presidential election on Tuesday, saying the "extent of the fraud" was "proportional to the violent reaction" there.

"These elections are dreadful news," Sarkozy told reporters in Gabon's capital Libreville on the sidelines of late Gabonese president Omar Bongo Ondimba's funeral. "The Iranian people deserve something else."

"The extent of the fraud is proportional to the violent reaction," he said, adding he was "worried about the situation in Iran."

Tehran has been the scene of massive opposition protests since President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was declared the winner of Friday's election, which his chief challenger Mir Hossein Mousavi said was rigged.

"It is a tragedy, but it is not negative to have a real opinion movement that tries to break its chains," Sarkozy said.

It’s a bit late for that.
If he didn’t want to meddle in Iran’s election, he wouldn’t have gone to Cairo and called on them to “unclench [their] fist.”
He created a situation where had Ahmadinejad lost, he would have claimed credit and Iran would have been humiliated.
He forced them to manufacture an Ahmadinejad win.
0bama is directly responsible for the situation in Iran today.

Mr. President, there is nothing meddling about speaking the truth about Iran.

They are a nation founded on hostage taking and terrorism. Speak up now or we will soon be held hostage by their nuclear ambitions.

Obama’s real problem with the Iranian upheaval is that it puts his policy of negotiating with the Iranian regime on a big hold.

Obama Doesn't Want To Be Seen "Meddling" In Iranian Elections

That's good news, since I suspect he identifies with and is rooting for Ahmadinejad. The less obama does in domestic and foreign affairs, the happier I'll be. I just wish he'd take his wife on an extended vacation at our expense ... it's the least costly thing he's likely to do during his four years of playing Dear Leader.

Obama's ACORN brown-shirts charged and convicted for voter fraud across the nation.

Obama's AG Holder withdraws charges against the Black Panther thugs who intimidated voters with a club and racist insults.

Obama's DOJ stops Georgia from weeding out illegal aliens and the dead from their voters role.

How CAN Obama preach to Ahmadinejad about electoral integrity? In fact, this could be another thing that the two see eye-to-eye on - along with their view that America is guilty for the problems of the world.

Do you see any of the muslim countries in the ME meddling in Iran’s election crisis? Then why should we, as the greatest muslim country, meddle in Iranian affairs?

End result....the Obamanation’s speech was a dud, fell on deaf ears world wide, what a comedown for the messiah!! Since when does he not meddle in everything???...take note of his “unclench your fist” speech in Egypt. That fell on deaf ears too. This little dictator is about to get a huge letdown if and when America realizes how they have been had...and this is only the beginning.

Obama's refusal to criticize reminds me of another election he doesn't much want to speak about...it happened about this time last year (from wiki:

The run-off election was held on 27 June 2008, and Zimbabwe’s Electoral Commission released the results two days later. The official results showed that Mugabe had managed to double his votes since the first round, to 2,150,269 votes (85.5%), while his opponent Tsvangirai obtained only 233,000 (9.3%). However Tsvangirai had pulled out previously because of widespread violence from the ZANU-PF's forces. The violence includes beating, rape and others. Many voted because if they didn't they could face violence against them....

It wasn’t enough for Imanutjob to simply copy Zeros slogan ‘Yes we can!’ If he really wanted to steal an election without embarassing hassles he should have consulted the White House or at least formed up an Iranian version of Acorn.

So so lame. :-( Where is the clarion call for the rights of man? The furious demand for liberty and justice for all? The Founding Fathers would HATE Obama’s pathetic, sissyboy, amoral, feckless, meandering reply.
