I saw a show on TV just a few days ago. It was slightly old: a repeat. It highlighted "stupid people doing stupid things" or some such theme. Of course, one of the featured clips was of President Bush approaching some ornate double doors, tugging on a handle and finding that the door would not move. So he stood there on camera and waited for someone to assist in some way. Pretty minor stuff. But this was (of course) an example of the stupidest-man-in-history-to-ever-occupy-the-White-House.
Meanwhile, we've had Obama treat a window like a door (BANG!), confuse his left and right, declare that there are 57 states, etc. But he gets a pass because he's so brilliant.
That’s exactly right. If Leno were still hosting he’d ride this mercilessly insinuating if not outright calling Bush an idiot. He constantly did that with Bush trying to open that locked door. Won’t hear anything of the sort concerning zer0.
