Facing a world of diplomatic woes from Iran to North Korea, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton had the opportunity to get some heavyweight advice at a dinner held by eight of her living predecessors.

Tuesday night's private dinner at former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright's Washington home gathered top U.S. diplomats from five previous administrations with decades of hands-on experience in some of the most difficult foreign policy crises America has faced.

I'm glad to see my old boss General Haig stayed away. Don't these people ever leave Washington, DC when they are out of the government?

I wonder if Maddy the Dancing Midget has sent her congratulatory message to Comrade Chia Pet’s offspring, soon to assume the role of Numba One Juchebag in the sad cesspool known as North Korea?

I wondered why my ears were burning last night.

I bet our country was hypothetically sold out at least 75,000 times during that dinner. Diplomats just never seem to have OUR best interests in mind. They are always overly concerned about making other countries ‘happy’, all too often at great cost to us.

Hilary is way down at the lightweight end of that list. I have to say Hilary has appeared as a total baloonhead in this position.

Honor Hillary Clinton for WHAT? Her stewardship of the State Dept., and her flair for diplomacy?

But, of course. Dinner for the heavyweights. Hillary demands it.

... held by eight of her living predecessors.

Bless her heart, she really needs advice.

There's that odd "living" thing again. Nope, no seances this time, not at all, only the living were present. Not that desperate yet.

We can only hope that Kissinger, Baker, and Condi, and even Powell, imparted some wisdom into this lightweight!
