Montgomery County prosecutors secured murder indictments today against six people who had been previously charged in connection with the slaying in January of a 15-year-old who was stabbed 72 times and dumped in a Gaithersburg creek.
For the first time in Montgomery, a county grand jury also indicted the defendants under a 2007 law that allows judges to sentence gang members who commit violent crimes to an additional 20 years in prison.

Even Northern Virginia is not nearly as bad as the hellhole called Maryland.
Well, let's put it this way: there is more open land and real countryside in Montgomery County than in Fairfax County. But Occupied Northern Virginia (as my Richmond cousins refer to it) also has Fauquier County, which offers some real farmland and historic lands, and is technically in the DC metro area. Maryland has nothing like it.
