BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- A three-year-old girl was taken along for the ride during her mother's crime spree in Brevard County.
Cocoa police say it all started in the early hours of Friday morning when the mother, with her daughter in the backseat, decided to rob the Wendy's on US 1 in Cocoa.
Police say she was armed with a gun and got away with $600 cash.
When the cops showed up, the suspect jumped in her car and took off. Police chased her for nearly 10 minutes and finally used stop sticks on her vehicle. One police car even blew a tire on the stop sticks.
With assistance from Brevard County sheriff's deputies, Rockledge and Palm Bay police, the woman was finally stopped.
The little girl and her mother were brought here to Wuestoff Hospital to be checked out. The little girl is alright and she is now with her father. The woman will be booked into jail Friday morning.

Seems we only get the best and brightest here in Florida. And somehow I doubt the little girl is much better off with "daddy".
Have a heart. Things are hard for a working mother trying to juggle a career and raising children.
She’ll be out of jail in time to vote several times in the next election.
She would have had escaped if she didn’t call 911 and complained about the cold fries.
home schooling trailer trash style?
lol
Since when did you have to be out of jail, alive, or even a real person to vote for the beneficent one?
Take your child to work day.
Next week she’s going to sell drugs with daddy.
Couldn’t find a sitter?
D'oh!!
rofl that’s a good one.
Wendy's Employee Kills Co-Worker
It's in Florida too.
Ha - I just noticed the other Wendy’s story and of course, in Florida too.
It just shows ya how hard it is find good childcare these days.
Note to self: do not visit any Wendy’s in Florida.
Just starting young with teaching the kid the family business. A bit like the philosopher James Mill starting to teach his son John Stuart Mill some Greek when JSM was only three years old.
Take your child to work day was a couple of months ago.
Really...I think the spelling should be changed to Floriduh....
At least she didn’t leave the little tyke in day care. Or night care, whichever would have been appropriate in this instance.
