According to some folks on this forum, this woman hates the United States more than she dislikes the Mullahs.

What matters is, is there enough more like her.

thank you for your auspicious comment-

yet dubious commentary from the young lady going to have
her eyebrows narrowed,truly speaks volumes

Iranian/Persian custom dictates girls and unmarried women do NOT pluck their eyebrows to signify they are virgins and unmarried.
It’s one of the oldest traditions in Iran.

In 2009 this does not mean that stray eyebrow (ah-bru) hairs are not cleaned up before marriage but having a unibrow (to some varying degrees) in courtship signifies virginity.

For this young woman in “narrowing her eyebrows” means
to pluck from her soul for love of country - a remembrance for love and death and she is prepared to die for freedom.

She may hate the US. But she seems to be bent on creating a different course for her country.

If a similar situation were to occur here, I don’t think the majority would care about what Iran was thinking.

If by some miracle, there were to be a regime change due to these actions...maybe...just maybe there could be an infusion of information on both sides that might create better relations.

I’m laying my cynicism aside for the moment. I’ll find it again tomorrow.

I've noticed that, too

Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.

Oh, dear...
