Rubio is a fine young man....and we need him. Crist has the hate conservative/Palin/Rush as well as other DC spinelessrepublican scum BUT Rubio can win.....Ive spoke to a lot of Latins in S FL that voted for Obama but will cast their vote for Rubio. That and the North should push into office.

Agreed!!!!

Everyone is looking for the next Reagan and not realizing if it was not for the people who backed Reagan, who supported his positions, there would never have been a Reagan.

Last week there was a poll out showing a larger portion of Americans consider themselves conservatives then liberal yet look at our government. We have elected officials who do not resemble the very people who put them into office. As conservatives we must not only hold politicians accountable for every vote cast, we also need to back politicians who are on our side.

I hope you understand why I am asking? And thanks for the iformation. We simply do not need anymore people that are in this government strickly for themselves. Look at what’s going on. America is broke; it’s people are losing their jobs. We are country that is not like that.

That does not jive with what he said in the youtube video I posted on post #94

What can I say? Does this article jibe with your video:

Miami-Dade lawmakers stymie immigration bills; Bills targeting illegal immigration have yet to make much headway in the state Legislature.

The dozen bills being pitched in the House and Senate would increase employer verification requirements, give local law enforcement agencies more authority to check for immigration status of people pulled over for DUIs, and ban county or city funding for day-laborer centers such as one that exists in South Dade. Florida lawmakers looking to pass bills targeted at curbing illegal immigration faced one major hurdle this session -- convincing South Florida legislators, who hold key leadership positions in the House and Senate, to support their cause. Without the backing of House Speaker Marco Rubio, the first Cuban-American to hold the position, the bills failed to get any major play in their committees. Six weeks into the session, a three-hour workshop was held on the six House bills, but even that failed to produce its desired intent of combining the bills into one larger committee bill.

''Speaker Rubio outlined the priorities of the session and this didn't fall under that list,'' said Rivera, one of Rubio's lieutenants.

Believe the video if you want. I'll believe what he's done to support illegal immigration.

He is not the speaker any longer and it is still not getting passed. Yeah, I believe the youtube video of him on this issue. He is the most credible conservative candidate in this race. I’ll vote for this guy over Crist any day.

I agree with you, America is being destroyed every single day by our politicians who sell their votes to the highest bidder.

That is why I’m willing to budge slightly on a few issues if need be and support candidates that are fiscal conservatives, who take the constitution seriously and who are, most importantly, electable!!

I watched this last election as conservative after conservative refused to vote for McCain, even after Palin was brought on board and look where it got us - Obama.

I hope you understand what I am saying that conservatives need to work together, not against each other and support candidates who most closely match our views both in words and in actions. We are a massive number in the US and if we organize behind candidates as a group, we take our country back.

It’s also much easier to hold our politicians accountable for their actions as a vocal majority.

I do agree. We can’t have it all; however we can and deserve the best leader possible. One for America and its people. I also and sick and tired of the greed in Washington DC and even in our states. We have a lot of work to do and we must be united.

Don't ever say you weren't warned. It's funny how even when faced with FACT people still refuse to believe reality. LOL!!!

I hate Crist... but I think I hate fake conservatives just as much. I won't be voting on that race.

I’ll do anything to defeat Governor Sun tan. The best I see now is Rubio. If any other credible conservative candidate pops up to defeat Crist please let me know. But or now I am enthusiastic for Rubio.

Thank you. I’m not sure where Palin is on illegal immigration, but I know where Rubio is. He may in sum be better than Crist (yes, I know he is), but if Republicans punt on immigration they’re probably never winning again purely due to immigration demographics.

I guess I know too much about the guy. But remember this thread when the Rubio bus crashes and is used to beat conservatives over the head. This guy Rubio is going to make many conservatives totally abandon the Republican Party forever. You’ll see.

If true I will message you that you turned out to be correct. But I truly believe this guy is the real deal. I know he even read Mark Levin’s book and loved it. So yes, I think this guy is for real. Right now I see a Specter Republican in Crist versus the real deal in Rubio. I will turn out to vote for the real deal in Rubio. If Rubio becomes a turn coat then I will remember to message you that you were correct.

I’m with you - if Rubio turns out to be less then what he’s telling us, I’ll be his most vocal critic.
