I think it is poking fun at Obama-mania and the messianic self-image of the Chosen One, but it's so true to the view of the media and the Kool-Aid drinkers (but I repeat myself) that the satire would be lost on them.

I suspect that the Jib-Jabberers didn't want to make it too biting of a satire because of the climate of fear these days. Most in the media are treading lightly because of the immediate recriminations against anyone poking fun at or criticizing The Savior and His Ordained Policies. They watered it down almost to the point of defeating the purpose of satire. Bottom line: Far from Jib-Jab's best, but its over-the-top-ness was worth a chuckle.

Ding, ding, ding!! We have a winner!!!

It seems to be lost on some of the people here, too. I think it's quite clearly a "jab" at the Obama hype that we've endured for nearly a year now.

IMO, it's mildly-humorous and very well done. I didn't expect a scathing hit piece filled with Cheney-esque gravitas.
