I wonder if this is what Obama wants... in other words, that he wants the world community (embassies in Tehran taking in wounded, NPOs sending in medical support and possibly humanitarian aid) each do their part without the USA taking the lead. That, collectively the world guides Iran to a humanitarian solution.

I am thankful that some are taking the lead to help the protesters, however, I fear that many Americans will think that “we” can “collectively” help Iran reach a resolution rather than assume our moral responsibility and demand that Obama step up to the plate! Meanwhile, we lose precious time and respect.
