The majority of our fellow countrymen want government-run healthcare.

While many have criticized Mr. Obama's proposal for a public option, Americans generally see government involvement in health care in a positive light, and most support it.

Fifty percent think the government would be better than insurance companies at providing medical coverage (up from 30 percent in 2007), and 59 percent think the government would be at better holding down costs (up from 47 percent in 2007).

I don't happen to know anyone in favor of obama health care. Show me one thing gov does well, one thing good that is.

No doubt the masses endorse the abstract concept of what they imagine will be free health care. But the real problem here is never mentioned by the media: There just isn't much concern about health insurance in this country--there is no "crisis" in the eyes of the great majority.

When people are asked to produce a list of their concerns, rather than checking off options presented on a premade list, "health insurance" barely registers.

These schemes fail because the thugs in charge fail to demonstrate any need for the increase in taxes and loss of free choice that the average person can relate to.
