Likely there are several factions interested in toppling the current regime. None of them singularly would be able to do it. Right now they have a common enemy.

If they work together, they can accomplish this. We can worry about who’s going to come out on top later.

But for now, the current regime cannot continue and I support the revolution. If someone wants to accuse me of supporting fascists because of that, that’s certainly their prerogative, but it’s nothing but false accusations. Anyone who does that is a liar engaged in a smear campaign against FReepers who think other than he.

Let it be noted, IMO, that objecting to the revolution simply because there may be factions in there that are not worth supporting, casts anyone in that position in the light of being against the revolution and in favor of keeping Ahmadinejad in power.

The people are far ahead of these mullah people, including Mousavi.
They are now yelling from the rooftops for the “death to the dictator.”

Sounds like they had enough.

When’s our turn?

I support those that question the election results in a peaceful manner, which is what she was doing. Has Jimmy Carter volunteered to go over and validate this election yet?
