No Guest today, other than Jesse having his oldest son Marvin on at 7 (2nd hour) to talk abt family, fatherhood and marriage. Thats the word from BOND. Marvin is on now.
Very interesting to hear from Marvin just what Jesse has been talking about all these years. He is agreeing with his dad, that the man is the natural leader in the family. He is also agreeing that once he forgave his parents his whole life changed and he is able to be himself for the first time.
Wow, that was so nice to hear, as Jesse and his son Marvin had a conversation about what they have been through. Marvin’s step father was jealous of Jesse and would not let him see Marvin when he married Marvin’s mother. But as both Jesse and Marvin pointed out, if you keep working on yourself and hang in there, God will allow you to have a relationship. Jesse put up with the hate Marvin dumped on him because he understood. They also pointed out there was no substitute for your real parent. Very nice interview.....
