Well, as I've said, anything that causes chaos to the mullahs is a good thing. I have no idea what the demonstrators want, we only have reports from the msm and "twitter", neither of which inspires confidence.

I think the only way that an islamic country could become civilized would be a wholesale repudiation of islam.

Notice that the young girl that was shot, Neda, was originally reported to be an innocent bystander. Now she has become the face of the revolution, whether she supported their views or not.

“Of course he’s right,” Too bad he’s the son of a brutal dictator. He should STFU if he wants to be helpful.

Most revolutions don't stay on the track they start on. Kind of like people, in fact.

The Shah tried to modernize Iran => labeling him a “brutal dictator” is leftist claptrap. Carter allowing him to fail HAS caused more death and destruction WW than had the Shah remained in power. Now we have nihilist hellbent on obtaining the bomb!

Jimmy Jackass, the Democrats and Leftists need to STFU.

Better, they need to save the planet NOW by stop breathing.

Note how the MSM says the crowds are “unhappy about the election outcome”. BS! The Persian people are enraged over the massive, obvious electoral fraud! Our own MSM is afraid to even mention “election fraud” because that is how Obama achieved power. In 2012 I wonder if Americans will take to the streets in millions if that election is rigged?

...if the popular uprising in Iran is crushed... "Their defeat will encourage extremism from the shores of the Levant to the energy jugular of the world," said Pahlavi, who left Iran a year before the ouster of his father, shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, in the 1979 Islamic revolution. "At worst, fanatical tyrants who know that the future is against them may end their present course on their terms: a nuclear holocaust," Pahlavi told a room packed with reporters at the National Press Club in Washington.
Sure, but other than that, what's the problem? /sarc

“Too bad he’s the son of a brutal dictator”

The late Shah was painted as an evil brutal dictator because he opposed the Communists and Islamists.

A weak, timid, Leftist commie loving Jimmy Carter mmobilized the press and public opinion on the Left against the Shah.

We are now seeing the results of Carter’s abandoning the Shah and his family and allowing the Islamic Apocalyptic Death Cult to take over Iran.

Probably one of the most misunderstood leaders of the 20th century.

The Shah modernized Iran, gave wonmen the right to vote and participate in ociety, go to university. He also took away the law of the veil which forced women to wear the veil, and the burqua.

Now they are free to be beated beaten in the steets by the morals police of the Mullahs. They can be legally stoned to death under Shariah Law in place.

Well, he was a brutal dictator. You can argue that he wasn’t brutal enough, I suppose, or he would have hung on longer. He did abolish all independent political parties in 1975, and required every citizen to join and pay dues to his “Ressurection” Party. So it’s nice to give women the vote, but they could only vote for Ressurection Party candidates.

History will judge the Shah of Iran. He is looking better every dsday compared to the brutal theocratic apocalyptic death cult that rules Iran today.

History and God will judge Jimmy Carter for abandoning support of the Shah and the reforms he was putting into place when the US threw him out, and let the Mullahs in..

The blood of Neda, and all killed in the name of the “Islamic revolution” in Iran is on the hands of Jimmy Carter. One could call Jimmy Carter the Godfather of the Islamic Republic of Iran/

It wasn't just Obama - it's been ACORN and the dem "PR firms" playing rough. Obama has yet to condemn the election fraud in Iran - he condemns shooting the protesters. Big difference.

Those protesters are NOT in the streets protesting being shot at - they're in the streets protesting election fraud. I believe even the NEW York Times is afraid to be honest on this one - they usually give dems the old wink and nod when it comes to election cheating.
