Obama: 'Not Too Late' for Iranian Government to Peacefully Resolve Unrest (Hit the reset button)

President Obama implored the Iranian regime Tuesday to pursue a "peaceful path" to resolve the election dispute that has thrown the country into chaos, saying it's "not too late" for the government to do so and engage with the international community.

Though some analysts see the protests on the streets of Iran as a potential tipping point that could eventually lead to the toppling of the regime, the U.S. president made clear that he's still interested in reviving diplomatic ties with the hard-line Islamic government.

Obama said the United States is "appalled and outraged" by the regime's crackdown on protesters, but that his administration is taking a wait-and-see attitude.

"What's happened in Iran is profound and we're still waiting to see how it plays itself out," Obama said at a press conference. "It's not too late for the Iranian government to recognize that there is a peaceful path that will lead to stability and legitimacy and prosperity for the Iranian people. We hope they take it." He said there remains a path for the country to engage with the global community.

Obama also dismissed concerns that he's not speaking out forcefully enough in support of the protesters, saying the Iranian people can "speak for themselves." At the same time, he used tougher language than he has in recent days.

As opposed to how appalled and upset we were over a week ago when it started and the Boy King said nothing.

You just know he’s tired of this Iran “sideshow” and wants to get back to destroying capitalism, socializing medicine, confiscating firearms and all the rest of the “important agenda” that Mr. Soros elected him to do.

“I'm burning, I'm burning!”, Soltan’s final words.

I guess Obama was having a brain freeze and didn't hear the words.

"Stop gassing the protesters so we can get back to appeasing you!"

Contrast his statement to this: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Man, I miss my boss!

There’s not any usefulness in Muslims choosing one terrorist candidate or another terrorist candidate... they are both the same.

And, when people *choose* that very oppressive totalitarian state *themselves* — which is called Islam, that defective and false religio-governmental idealogy which engages in these things — then that is *their own choice* for choosing that very thing.

There is only *one* God and that’s the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. All else is false and results in man’s slavery upon others of mankind. Nothing better than that comes out of rejecting the one true God.

Our founding fathers knew better and that’s why they referenced the one true God, that Creator God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

BUT, having said that, it’s up to each person to choose what they *want to live under*, and if the people choose to adhere to the evil and oppressive religion as their own personal choice, then they *get* exactly what they want for themselves. That’s exactly the nature of the evil and false and oppressive idealogy of Islam.

Everyone probably should view these videos... to get better educated on what the people of Iran have chosen for themselves in *being* Muslim...

Also, for anyone else wanting to find out about the deceptive and evil practices of Muslims and how they try to fool the “infidels” so they can perpetrate their overthrow of their governments..., see the following...

Dear Mr. Pipes:

I am sure you are aware of it, but perhaps it would help the average reader to better understand what we are up against with committed Islamist jihadis, if the concept of “takiyya” were included in a story like this. In fact, to the Western way of thinking and within our ethical framework, deception is deception and it is wrong.

Within the Muslim moral universe, the concept of “takiyya”, which is religiously-sanctioned deception to protect or promote Islam, is not only moral, it is admirable because it comes from the Koran and experiences of Muhammad himself. This by no means is to excuse the behavior of a character like Moussaoui, but to place that behavior in a context about which most Americans know nothing. As Sun Tzu said many centuries ago, “Know thine enemy as you know thyself.”

Sincerely,
Clare M. Lopez

Well, why is choosing one Muslim terrorist leader considered to be better than choosing a different Muslim terrorist leader?

Here’s your other Muslim terrorist candidate...

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Mousavi

Iranian reformist may seem moderate but his history is one of a radical sympathizer of the ayatollahs’ regime. Can a leopard really change its spots?

Reformist Iranian leader Mir-Hossein Mousavi, with his sleek, striped shirts and overall serene demeanor, may seem like the nuclear threat-wary West’s wildest dream, but a closer look into the man’s past reveals a darker image, of a man who was a radical sympathizer of the ayatollahs.

Mousavi (67), who became Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s main political rival during the last presidential race, is an architect by training, an amateur artist and a would-be poet, who has penned dozens of romantic songs.

His presidential campaign focused on problems rooted within the Islamic Republic: He pledged to improve the status of women, fight unemployment, poverty and the younger generation’s disconcerting affection for drugs, and he vowed that change will come.

His resume, however, depicts an extremist – a man who is not so different than Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

What’s really bizarre is this is the type of answer he gave after Major Garrett asked :
“ Are the Iranian diplomats still invited to the State Dept 4th of July parties ? “

Obama refused to answer Garrett’s question.
Instead, he went off into BlahBlahland talking boilerplate gobbledygook.
BTW-The party for the Iranians is still on.
Dead people in the street will not get in the way of Barry entertaining fellow ideologues.

Nothing however, topped Garrett’s first question-

” If you were so outraged, why did it take so long ..?”

Hussein is not scared. Look at his religion and his past. He is working for his friends, against his enemies.

And this traitor is POTUS. I'm not telling you anything you already don't know. Just torquing you....

Now, go buy some ammo.
