At home I could see nodding off but in public I was paranoid about protecting my kids and keeping them with me at all times. Shopping was difficult as I paid more attention to the kids and it took twice as long. Hold one and the other had ahold of purse straps or a pocket.

Oh yes, I am still paranoid, and take lots of steps for their safety. However I have screwed up at least once with each one, and I thank God alone that my kids are ok.

I know I am not the only one. If you talk to ALMOST any mom, they have a “near miss” story. We are fallible human beings.
