We need to work for the abolition of Congressional Retirement and Health Care for life. It should end when the Congressperson is no longer in Congress. They can purchase COBRA of course . . . what would that be for the current Congressional Health Care Coverage? About $5000 a month?
Congress should have to buy their own health care coverage and should NOT be getting their salaries for life. For 12-18 months maybe, but NOT for life. They should also contribute to Social Security.
