The newspaper shouldn’t have published his private email. What he did was wrong but publishing those emails is also very wrong. He fell in love with someone who wasn’t his wife.
I know how that feels and it isn’t the love that is wrong it is the way it is dealt with and a lot of that comes from a misunderstanding of love, sex, and commitments. Learning that you can love many people without allowing those relationships to become inappropriate is something that isn’t easy. Mark and his family deserve our prayers.

The newspaper shouldn’t have published his private email.

The emails were not private as they were written from a computer and email account that was owned by the people of South Carolina.

So therefore, the media outlet is simply showing the people of South Carolina how the Mark Sanford was spending their tax dollars.
