She was standing in the checkout lane and my son, who was about 12 months old at the time, was playing with a toy truck.
Some middle-aged dingbat stared at my wife and spouted "You know, you're programming him to be a boy."
My wife, never one to back down from this type, responded, "Thank you. He is a boy."
An older gentleman, who was standing nearby, chuckled loud enough for everyone to hear, and the dingbat just stood there, mouth agape.
Today’s idiotic research and quotes are tomorrow’s norm.

The Left loves natural food and unnatural sex.
Now wait a minute! Haven’t we been told for the last 20 years that movies & TV don’t “influence” people in any way? They only “reflect” what is going on in society? Hasn’t that been their argument for putting whatever they want on the screen? Now they want to turn around and say Disney movies might “influence” our children to be normal?
They want it both ways as usual.
How dare movie studios reflect normalcy?
brace yourself for the coming tsunami of gay-themed Childrens movies (hang on to those old VHS tapes as long as you can...)
What else would you expect a couple of lesbians to write?
There’s also no multiple partner sex, drug use, random partner violence, or public nudity in any of these movies.
Pinging everyone i can think of for a good laugh
Just insane.
Sorry, freaky deakies... heterosexuality is normal.
Two strong exemplars of successful popular media attempts at this could be "Gentlemen's Agreement" (antisemitism) and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (racism). Now we are seeing the abnormal sexual orientation group(s) try to pressure for the same kind of success - coming soon to a theater near you!
That being said, are there *any* sane parents out there, who are not homosexuals themselves, who want their children to grow to be homosexuals? That would be abusive, like wanting your children to eventually become double amputees.
They are dead serious, and there are plenty of dummies who will buy into it.
U of M...our tax dollars at work.
They just don’t know a good story,
its’s what I like to call “Shakespearean themes” (but really go back to the Bible),
these libs which put on this study really are attacking traditional values (it’s really a battle between worldviews: postmodernism vs. judeo/christianity-Deist(at worst).
More “B ark” candidates!

You have to look pretty hard to find anything corrupting in an asexual sea sponge from an in-tact family. Krabs is widowed. Mrs. Puff is widowed. Squidward is your typical curmudgeon who's only love is his art. You have to look long and hard to find anything between Spongebob and Patrick other than child-like, best buddyism. The baby scallop episode was rather bizarre, with Spongebob staying home and being the mom while Patrick supposed went to work. But I don't think any kid's values have been damaged.
"Characters in love are surrounded by music, flowers, candles, magic, fire, balloons, fancy dresses, dim lights, dancing and elaborate dinners," the researchers observed. "Fireflies, butterflies, sunsets, wind and the beauty and power of nature often provide the setting for - and a link to the naturalness of - hetero-romantic love."
All of which is true in real life.
Should Disney be glorifying two minute quickies in men's restrooms ? The wonder of AIDS ? The beauty of hating men and growing your leg hair ?
Reproduction is a key concept here.
“Hasnt that been their argument for putting whatever they want on the screen?”
Liberals have always been hypocrites on “media influence”.
While in some areas of morality, like smoking, they long ago acknowledged media influence in helping young people accept the habit. In fact, liberals, being dominant in the media and in advertising, they readily acknowledged the power of the constantly repeated public image, because their media and advertising business plans understood it, were based on it and counted on it.
Meanwhile, they simultaneously denied, and continued to deny, the power of their own continuously repeated sale of public images regarding human sexuality to shape and create changes in public presentation of sexual expressions, while claiming, falsely, that their products had no strong role in that process at all.
In this entire issue they have always been liars and speaking simultaneously out of both sides of their mouths.
They have, knowingly, split their business role into the same schizophrenic position. When it suits their whims, they will claim their self-censorship is their “freedom of speech” right, and when it suits their whim, they will claim that they produce an image that they may not agree on, when it comes to “sexual” elements, BUT ONLY because the “freedom of speech” of someone else may be denied.
In truth, in actual practice, freedom of speech does not REQUIRE that ANY private element MUST provide a megaphone to any other private element, and therefore, in truth, the media ONLY, and always, promotes what it chooses to promote. It is never operating on a basis of protecting anyone’s “freedom of speech” but its own. Therefore, it’s denial that it has been a major conscious force in creating and shaping public morals is a lie. The question they avoid is not whether or not certain actions or conditions have the legal freedom to be expressed, but whether or not freedom and liberty require that that that expression be promoted by someone else or not.
The idea that some expression is not free unless everyone must promote it stands the principal of liberty and freedom of expression on its hand - it says freedom of expression is not a free choice, everyone is required to promote what everyone else wants to express. But, that is exactly the false argument of the media and the ACLU type of defense on ALL matters of public sexual expression in particular; even though they argue the opposite on anything political.
Another demonstration of modern, U.S. Democrat “liberalism” as a mental disorder.
