Remember: Over the 2012-2035 timeline, job losses average over 1.1 million. By 2035, a projected 2.5 million jobs are lost below the baseline (without a cap and trade bill). Particularly hit hard are sectors of the economy that are very energy-intensive: Manufacturers, farmers, construction, machinery, electrical equipment and appliances, transportation, textiles, paper products, chemicals, plastics and rubbers, and retail trade would face staggering employment losses as a result of Waxman-Markey.
Passed by those #*@(*#! Republicans.
______________
Those bastard traitors. Tea parties outside their homes. Make their life a living hell like they make ours. Time to take the gloves off
219-211.
This country is officially in the toilet!
I’m done.
The Senate does not vote on this rubbish until the fall. By then the cold air will bring people to their senses. The economy will be worse than right now. All this will produce a Senate no vote
Idiot Pelosi can bribe and horsetrade members of the House. This is a smaller factor in the Senate. This Global Warming scam bill is a House creation ...a Pelosi obsession. Senate is different
Just like Mark Sanford is a "credible conservative." Flake went on '60 Minutes' railing against pork.
219-212. A score that could live in infamy.
The RINOs will be hunted down. We’ll know in a few minutes.
Yeah, McCain is for the doggone thing.
_____________
I wish McCain would drop off the face of the earth. I can’t stand that POS.
OK - it still has to pass the Senate.
Now in the grand scheme of things. The Obama Health Care is worse than this. This Cap and Trade mess will be discovered to be what it is and repealed pretty fast.
But a whole new health care beauracracy, if it passes will end up like Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid. Junk that doesn’t work and we can never get rid of.
8 RINO’s turned against us - you have to wonder if they were pressured but it doesn’t matter if Rahm had a picture of them screwing a goat. They shoudl have shown some backbone and stopped this.
Obama either has promised him something his district really needs or someone is blackmailing him for some personal indiscretion (is he a closet gay like Kolbe or cheating on his wife?).
Jeff Flake has always been open borders scum. Never count on him
Where do we get the names and votes on this bill?
Ed
I AGREE!
i flipped through channels, and haven’t seen them listed yet

The White House is now little Chicago.
It’ll be on thomas.loc.gov eventually. Not sure how fast though.
“Hey Boehmer Think maybe you should have been getting some people in line instead of giving your specch?? FAILURE AS LEADER”
Bull tweet! The role Boehner played reading aloud the various appalling provisions of the 300page Waxman amendment to the already treacherous bill was critical. Without his using his Leader position no one would have had time to publicize those provisions. Only he, as Minority Leader, was afforded the time. Any other member would have been cut off after 3 minutes; Boehner got over an hour.
There is no accounting for the treachery of the 8 members, but you cannot blame Boehner.
Thanks, Kim.

Republicans Voting for the bill:

How many Rep. voted for it? was it 7 or 8

I think you're right about this.
