It's not weird at all. Obama was groomed from childhood to play the destructive role in American history he is playing today. His education, his career (such as it was), and his books were all part of a coordinated effort to make us poorer at home and weaker abroad.
I have very little doubt that Ayers wrote his first book just as one of the Communist professors at Harvard Law wrote his law review writing competition note when he was a 2L. Obama didn't just happen, he was manufactured. The man is a moron. Somebody crafted the image of a great intellectual for him. Jack Cashill has given us some interesting insight into how part of that crafting was done.
That said, it doesn't really matter how Obama came to be. The icon has been created and there is no way to debunk it now. The Obama that millions voted for doesn't exist and never did, but his supporters will never acknowledge that any more than the Iranian Mullahs will ever repudiate the idea that Mohamed was Allah's prophet.
It is interesting to look at the tracks that Obama’s creators left behind. In the end, however, they don't matter. We have to focus on fighting the monster not on exposing how he came to be. If Bill Clinton taught us anything it should be this: There is no political gain to be gotten from laying bare the ugly truths behind leftist mythology.
I'm not a fan of Cashill, but how much money, in round numbers, do you think he can make peddling this story?

As I recall, there was a big hoopla about Hillary having a ghostwriter for “Village”, too. Nobody cared. I don’t think anyone cares about ghostwriters, and assumes that everyone uses them. Ayers was the ghostwriter, and Obama lied about it. Shocking. /s
And she distracted you, and a few more people, from discussing the death of Ron Brown. Even the black loudmouths were beginning to ask questions. She also diverted attention from seven figure bribes being accepted by the then President, and the death of his "best friend."

The books were written to help him in his political goals by the Marxist Ayers. Ayers knew he could never accomplish his goals himself so BHO became his tool.

I don’t have to imagine. I have always known. Any rational, thinking human being could connect the dots during the campaign. Why is this news? It confirms they had a relationship. Didn’t we already know that? Nobody cared.
To add to your excellent post, here is how two men a generation apart in age were in the same place at the same time. Ayers evolved from street demonstrations to undergroud experiences to deciding that controlling early education was the best path for his Revolution. I agree with you that student Obama came into Ayers, and probably, Stanley Dunham’s life during the early ‘80s.

No, if true, this casts a more ominous view of the relationship. And Ayers can hold this authorship over Obama’s head for whatever purpose. Ayers has the power to destroy Obama politically.
I wish that were correct, but unfortunately it's not. Obama has yet to be nailed on anything. Oh, the evidence is all there, and that is probably what you are referring to when you say that he has been nailed -- in the theoretical sense of there being quite a bit of evidence against him, yes he has. But in the real sense of actually being challenged, indicted and convicted -- you know, actually "nailed"? That eventuality is, unfortunately, as distant as it has always been.
The birth certificate issue is still out there. Nothing substantial has come of it. The Chrysler takeover, which violates the rule of law as it pertains to bankruptcy proceedings, is out there. Nothing will come of that, either.
Then there is this Ayers-ghost-writing issue. I am afraid that all of this will amount to nothing more than some interesting writing-style analysis by a right-winger who is seen as flogging a dead horse. I fervently wish that this issue -- or ANY of these issues -- would amount to much, much more than that (in other words, get the legal attention they deserve), and Obama would be truly "nailed." But I've already seen enough and heard enough to be absolutely jaded about the possibility that anything will actually come of this.
I really hope I'm wrong. Maybe, like the story of the Mafia's Teflon Don, patience will be a virtue in this. But I'm getting tired of waiting for anything to actually stick to this Obama guy. At least the Teflon Don was just doing racketeering and the normal Mafia stuff. Obama's actions are, of course, much more damaging and far-reaching, affecting not only the citizens of this country but the planet as a whole. And I can't wait 3.5 more years or more for him to finally be outed and convicted for his crimes of fraud. It will be too late; the damage will have been done. It already has been done to a large extent, just within six months.
So I wait. And call congressmen. And wait some more. Hoping for the day that Obama is, truly, NAILED.

Just as you can pick out your favorite band’s sound even from an unheard piece of music, a writer’s little details do not lie. Bill Ayers and Barack Obama are two distinct people and cannot write that closely alike in the LITTLE things, the unconscious things. It’s not possible.100% Correct.
That 'writing style' even goes for FReepers. Every FReeper has their own style(1). After a while you can tell who posted a comment without seeing his/her screen name. Especially holds true for long time FReepers.
And as to guitarists, ditto. Just watch a YouTube Video of a BB King, Eric Clapton duet. They're both playing the same song but BB is doing it his way and Clapton is doing it his way (inserting their 'signature' licks).

Strawman. Following and commenting on this story doesn't make the greater issues of the day "secondary". It is not "Either/Or" but rather "Both/And". We should use every arrow in our quiver against this Marxist liar. It's a war. Tea parties and intellectual analysis. I'd say your anti-Cashill bias is clouding your thinking.
Look, the people of this country have been had. That much is clear by now. Obama is a liar, a fraud, a phony, a tyrant. He spends millions trying to conceal his college records, his long vault birth certificate, etc. He openly is above the rule of law in his quest to turn the country into a communist utopia. And the links between himself and all his radical pals are well established. That he would have Bill Ayers write a book for him is a near certain possibility. Cashill has obviously put a lot of effort into putting together some evidence that is beyond compelling. Some of us realize what’s going on but until the MSM does, we may as well be shouting from the rooftops.

Excellent point. Aren’t federal background checks of any potential employee needing secret clearances mostly about items in a person’s history that could be sources of blackmail? (I know elected officials do not get the FBI scrutiny but all State Dept employees, for example, do get them.)
