Sorry, Quincy Jones was the name I was looking for.

Axelrod: Without the stimulous, unemployment would be even worse.

Which is not a provable statement, of course.

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said on FOX News Sunday that Zero won’t sign a national health insurance bill that isn’t paid for but she didn’t want to touch the issue of taxing health insurance benefits for the employee. Brett Baer pressed her on an exemption for union employees and she, as a politician, was able to answer without answering.

Well, actually Axelhood should be able to point to some economic model that backs up his statement, but of course he can't.

Plagiarist???

IIRC, he was the producer on several of Jackson's hit records. Could be wrong, though.

The concept of “saved jobs” is designed to save only one guy’s job.

Listening to Sebelius discuss Obama’s health care reform, I hear someone reciting a mantra, without a grasp of the concepts or consequences. Just like Obama.

Axelrod: We didn’t coordinate witht he HuffPo about what was asked. We had no other way to get a question from inside Iran.

Really!

Perusing the guest list, the Iran story gets the spike, including Bret Baer’s Fox News Sunday. The echo chamber must have perceived Obama’s piddling performance isn’t up to the colossus myth; let the money quote be , “there’s really no difference between Ahmadinajad and Musavi.”

So nobody in the most computer savy administration in the history of the world knows how to LOG ON TO TWITTER?

I would say that Gregory and Axelrod had determined what topics they needed to cover to get the administration spin out and Gregory looked like he was on speed because he had to help Ax get through it all.

Pravda on the Potomac.

Morning AB, All...

....thanks again AB for doing this thread regularly and dependably.

I come here this morning with heavy heart and tortured soul.

First, the heart weighs heavy with the knowledge that our country's vaunted House of the People actually passed a law, however thinly, that would effectively ruin this economy. All to fool the people into yet another tax to support ongoing generations of those who would suckle on the government teat and will vote for those who provide the resources.

My soul is tortured because my own Rep in America's House, Mike Castle, has fooled me for the LAST TIME YES HE HAS.

Here in Delaware we have only ONE Rep in the House, Delaware being one of a few states that has two senators and one Rep.

Mike Castle, I hang my head in shame, is a Republican.

I know Mike Castle. He's not an intimate friend, no, and I don't think he would remember me from Adam. But I once had a long discussion with him. He tried to explain why he had to vote in ways I don't like because of Delaware being such a purple state. I got to express my exasperation with RINOS. Below my pic with Mike Castle.

Reluctantly I supported him but his Republican vote for this job-killer leaves me despising the man.

Couple of things. Republicans in Delaware have been holding their noses for ages, waiting for this man to retire. He was once a Governor and Castle is a Delaware name as much as Biden. It's the DEMOCRATS who love Mike Castle as my addled brain now realizes.

This time he would serve and would retire, or so we were told by the GOP leadership. So we waited; we didn't want to rock the boat. If nothing else, Castle added another pub vote to the House roster.

So there's no godawful reason for Castle to have voted FOR that Cap and Trade as if he was retiring, as promised and as us fools supported him these past months, huffing and puffing and resenting, then he didn't have to worry about re-election,no? Mike Castle is not a stupid man. He knows that bill is not a good thing for the citizens of Delaware.

Rumor has it here in the swamps of Delaware that it is none other than Mike Castle who can break the stranglehold that the Bidens have on this state.

Delawarians, God love 'em, are not natives in a lot of cases. Delaware is the state people move to when they turn 50. Many of these transplants know that name Biden, and in this case Castle, and that's pretty much it.

So Castle is planning to run for SENATOR!

right now there's a placeholder taking that position awaiting the return of Beau Biden, who is currently in Iraq. Beau, with patriotic military service and a VP father who's been Delaware's senator since the 70's is a shoo-in for the position.

I vow, here and now and declare it publicly, to fight Mike Castle for Senator of Delaware. I will support his opponent even if a damn Dem.

For I'd rather be represented by an honest Marxist than this lying, conniving wolf in sheep's clothing.

I'm done for now but hang in there. I'm on a roll this morning.
