He worked on this during his time at University. ..while playing 'Professor'. Tthey gave him an office yet; so that he could produce-and-publish. He produced and published nothing in his teaching field.
He did spend a great deal of time on this autobiography, however. . .and a great deal of time on the phone; apparently with Bill. . .taking dictation, perhaps.
Ah, but you give him too much credit. He was a instructor and lecturer, NOT a professor. Even a liberal one.
