Something’s wrong. I saw the same thing until about 15 minutes ago. It’s still not right because the main page shows 12 responses to your post but when I opened your post it shows none.

I popped it in the microwave. It should be thawed out now.
There is no worse feeeling, (well, actually there are quite a few) or sound then wooomp. been there dun that,, more than once..
After quite a long absence of that sound, it has reared its ugly head again over the last couple of weeks.
Heard one this afternoon at around 2 p.m. Loud one.
It occurs to me that I never missed that sound one bit and would just as soon never have to hear it again. ;-)
Pages were not refreshing on my end starting around mid-morning here on the eastcoast. Problem seemed to last until midday.
and, we’re back. What was odd was that my post for this thread did show up but nothing else was getting updated.
And it did get fixed (I kept refreshing my cache,
trying diff. browsers, even a sep. computer)
Lots of people logging in to talk Madoff, SCOTUS decision etc.?

Well looks like the “power outage” of sorts is over,
time to reset all the clocks :)
every time I clicked refresh the same posts would show up and the time would be given as Pacific time (I’m in Mass.) for a split
second—”7:37 am PDT” or something—then it would revert to
“10:37 am EDT” etc but it was older posts/threads, nothing new. Now fixed.
I made the best of the time off.. a beer run and vittles too. :-] another scorcher in the area, not like some sections of the country but.. county fair time.. yee and haaa..

and Yes, a lot of folk are following the SCoToTus.. and Madoff,, what can you say,, he wasn’t a very pleasant chap.. his karma finally bit him and a whole bunch of folk..
fortunately we are poor so it doesn’t affect our retirements but.. still to those hit by this debacle, it could have easily been, there are many like him out there.. and some even serve in high public office. ;-)
