People are furious at the Iranian government, after all the rigging and butchering they have done. I've also heard that the mullahs have been moving money out of Iran. They are clearly panicking.

Oh, believe, me I am not on Obama’s side AT ALL. I despise him and everything he stands for.
However, I am not on Mohammed’s side either. I despise him and everything he stands for. Ergo I cannot lend support to yet another anti-American, anti-Jew, anti-Israel, Iranian “Revolution”.

When I hear them shouting “Death to Islam” and “Death to Marxism”, I’ll know they’ve got it.
They are seeking freedom from corruption, and freedom from mostly elderly and certainly fundamentalist mullahs who are intent on denying Iranians the ability to progress and function as a modern secular society.
Iran is largely a very youthful country. The internet has made them well aware of the opportunities available to other muslim countries around them, such as the Gulf States, Iraq and Turkey - not to mention in the USA and Europe (where a fair number of Iranians have traveled).
I think the mullahs are finding it hard to keep them down on the farms, after they’ve seen Paree.
So what’s their “exit strategy”? I’m seeing a lot of yelling, but no indication of anything ready to replace the mullahs. The guy they’re hollering for isn’t much different from Ahmadenijad, and was on the ballot because he’s acceptable to the mullahs.

In other news today, Obama announced he is changing the name of Air Force One to “Global Community One”
How can you call this rebellion “ anti-american” when the struggle for self-determination is the very essence of the American Revolution?

Let me ask you something.
If these Iranian “Revolutionaries” are actually able to implement their vision, will you be able to PREACH CHRIST in Iran? Will you be able to build churches and synagogues? Will you be able to hand out gospel tracts in the streets?
Will people be able to say, “You know, the only reason I was ever a Muslim was because I was born into it. I’m going to change my faith and leave Islam,” without being KILLED?
Will any artist or commentator be able to poke fun at the malevolent mohammed the way Christ is mocked and despised without having riots and murders in Iran the way they rioted and murdered over the stupid Danish mohammed cartoons?
If not, they can take their “Revolution” and stick it.
I say let them have a fair election- once they figure out they can have a fair election, the next step will be to become more critical of the positions of the candidates. The candidates may also become attentive to the concerns of the electorate and mindful of the need to represent the people if they know the people vote them into office and can vote them out.
Under the present system- what incentive does ahamnutjob have to represent the people? None. He’s in, no matter how they vote.
And- here’s hoping the people ordering the butchery of the street protesters face justice.
The answer to all your questions is the same: yes. So, how about if help those people get free first and then you can work on teaching them how to speak in tongues?
But Mousavi and Rafsanjani are every bit the fanatical Mohamedan lunatics as the Khamenei clan and Amahdi-jihad.

I’ve been to Russia four times since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. I was there before and after the dissolution of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Russia is still ruled by tyrants and does not have anything like the Religious Liberty we take for granted here in the States. Only certain denominations are recognized by the Russian Federation and ALL of them are subordinate to the Russian Orthodox Church.
Not as severe as the proselytes of the pedophile polygamist pirate and foaming tyrant mohammed, but not a showpiece of Religious Liberty, either.

Either I missed that, or we are reading different Bibles. The Jew-hating prime minister of Ancient Persia, Haman, was able to get the King Atarxerxes to sign a warrant calling for the EXTERMINATION OF ALL JEWS throughout the Persian Empire, from India to Ethiopia.
Sound familiar? Some things never change.
The only thing that saved the Jews from the ancient Persian prime minister’s plot was that Artaxerxes discovered that he was MARRIED to a Jew, Esther.
What would save them from a prime minister appointed by one of these raving mahommedan lunatics, such as Rafsanjani or Mousavi?
And remember, Mousavi was isntrumental in establishing Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Jordan (”palestine”). He was also instrumental in the planning and execution of the bombing of the American Marine barracks in Lebanon.
Until he apologizes for that, and asks forgiveness for it, he and his “Revolution” are about as welcome to me as Khomeini and his “Revolution”.
