Hey GRRRRR, just saw the news as I logged onto FR today and wanted to offer my sincere sympathies on the loss of your wife. May God bless and keep her in his loving care. I pray he will comfort you, wipe away your tears and grant you peace as you mourn your loss.
Respectfully,
USC

Why can we find time to attend a funeral for a family member
but never time to visit them when they are alive...

Tube, it’s just one of the mysteries of our busy 21st Century lives...Cindy’s passing has reminded our entire family just how quick we can lose each other.
During the week, I heard from so many OLD friends and we’ve all reconnected. I’m going to see family in FL, MD. Old high school friends will be getting together every 6 months now and I’ve been on the phone with people just shooting the breeze. Going to see my niece play basketball tonight, something I would NEVER do before...
We ALL need to take the time...luckily the last words to my wife were, “I love you...See you after work...”

First Wife and I have been married 52 years and for 32 years I have written a small 3 to 6 line note to her before I go to bed each night and I reaffirm my love for her. I am relieved to hear you have a lot of support with family and FRiends.
Nascar comes to the bean and corn fields near you this weekend so remember to change your league drivers...

Take time to eat, sleep and take care of yourself. When Ralph died I didn’t. Just remembered that today and thought I should share it with GRRRRR!

I’m so sorry. Your wife was way too young to go. Take some comfort in knowing that she is in a good place and that you will reunite with her again one day. Try and keep yourself together for your daughter’s sake.
