Michael Steele ‘Deeply Disappointed’ By Franken Victory

“I am deeply disappointed in the decision made by the state Supreme Court, and I share the frustration of Minnesota’s voters. At the core of our democracy lies two concrete principles: No valid vote should go uncounted and all votes should be treated equally. Sadly, those principles were not adhered to during this election. While I would have proudly stood behind Norm Coleman had he chosen to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, I know that his decision to withdraw from this race was not an easy one, but one that he felt was the best decision for the people of Minnesota. For the last six years, Norm represented the people of Minnesota with distinction, earning a much deserved reputation as one of the hardest-working members of Congress. I, on behalf of all Republicans, thank him for his service and will miss his leadership in Washington.”

Steele may be a nice guy and all, but dammit, he is using manners in a street fight. Force him out and bring on someone like Glenn Beck. The marxist party is playing for keeps and sees an opportunity now with a pushover president who hates this country to reshape this country into something we will not recognize. He needs to be replaced mucho pronto or else the repub party will be reduced to a whimpering chihuahua in the face of a T REX.

The Democrat Party leadership knows it is much tougher then the Republican Party leadership. They can count on Republicans bowing to pressure and wimping out.

This is a major reason why Republicans find themselves as the minority party.

As long as steele heads the RNC they won’t get a cent from me. ...and to think I thought he was an up and coming star of the party and gave him money in his Senatorial race. Shame on my dumb butt for supporting a RINO that is dumber than the 3rd squirt of goose feces!

From here Coleman blew it. He allowed stuff to go on early in the recount that should not have been allowed.

If they were inventing votes for Franken, Steele ought to have been organizing riots in Saint Paul. Think its impossible? It was a nerd riot that settled the election in Florida, short-haired guys in sport shirts with pen-filled pocket protectors kicking in the door where they were counting the ballots, and it worked. That was the moment that decided the election; the Supreme Court only put their stamp of approval on it.

What's the difference in the Minnesota vote and the way the voting went in Iran? We are officially a banana republic.

As long as group like ACORN are legal and not stopped, no election can be considered valid

Obama approves of both elections, Iran and Minnesota.

I have never been to Minnesota.
Do not believe that I personnaly know anyone that is from Minnesota.
Also have no interest in going to Minnesota or getting to know anyone from Minnesota, if the majority of the voters there think that Al Franken is fit for any title above class idiot.

As Coleman was slightly ahead on election night when the absentee military votes had not yet been counted, this makes me wonder if they ever were.

That's not fair, really...they also voted for that Rhodes scholar Jesse Ventura...but compared to MA citizens (or Massholes, as I prefer to call them) they are enlightened and politically astute citizens...MA is home to Bawney Fwank, Jean Francois Kerry and...Big Head Ted Kennedy, the Cape Cod swimmer...and Mike “Let's Ride in the Tank” Dukakis...Gerry Studds, the rapist of an underage teenage male page and last but certainly not least...Mayor Tom “Mumbles” Menino...

As I recall, several hundred of us on this site have stopped giving money to the RNC, myself included. Many more Americans may be doing the same.
