If she is your soul mate, then get a damn divorce and move on!

What the Hell?

Is he narrating a story from Harlequin Romance.

“This was a whole lot more than a simple affair, this was a love story,” Sanford said. “A forbidden one, a tragic one, but a love story at the end of the day.”

This is an excellent article that captures why Mark Sandfor is not - or should not imo - be 'protected' by people in general.

http://townhall.com/columnists/SteveChapman/2009/06/28/why_adultery_is_political_suicide

…Why not? Because adultery, unlike a frisky bachelor lifestyle, connotes a reckless dishonesty at odds with our basic notions of integrity. Because it shows a lack of respect for the most important commitment that most of us will ever make. Because it indicates that the adulterer will always place his selfish desires above those who depend on him…

…Yet here we are again, disqualifying a possible White House aspirant because he couldn't keep his pants on. After two decades of high-level political sex scandals, we seem to have reached a consensus that marital fidelity is actually pretty important in a leader. Given the choice, we would prefer peace and prosperity to presidential rectitude. But we really want all three, and we think we can have them….

“Who were those Freepers telling us how good it would be to have this guy as President ~ weren’t they Romney supporters?”

Haha. Hard to be a Romney supporter and be propping up Mark Sanford in 2012. But I think you knew that. ;)

The guy is not in control of himself.

He needs to get a grip.

If his marriage was broken, he ought to have filed for divorce and done so openly. As it is, his political life is over, and he needs to understand that. He most certainly has a future in some other endeavor, but his life as a leader is over. You can get a lot of mileage posing and pretending, but once the game is up its up.

It sounds like he is in a full blown manic episode...can’t shut up, has no ability to check what he’s saying (impaired judgment) and sexual promiscuity issues, and no sense of consequences for his actions.

NOT GUILTY!

In this undated video frame grab, taken from a C5N TV Channel from Argentina report sometime during the Sept.11, 2001 twin towers attacks in New York, Argentine Maria Belen Chapur speaks during a stand up. The 41-year-old Argentine woman, who had worked as free-lance journalist in the past, has acknowledged having a relationship with South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford. In a statement sent to news network C5N of Buenos Aires, Chapur said she will not talk about her private life, but also said the email exchanges with Sanford that were widely published by U.S. media and elsewhere were obtained by someone who hacked her account. Swear to god I was in the theater watching that with my Mom and when he hung himself I broke out laughing with amazement. I couldn’t help it.

I girl I dated the following week was in the theater and told me about some guy laughing at that scene. I told her it was me and what’s worse my Mom was with me.

We started laughing and then said “Bady Boy!”. The evening ended well and I made breakfast. LOL

Here’s another, why should the mistress trust him? Didn’t it come out that he cheated on the mistress?

Here's my biggest fear. The fact that he was one of the staunchest opponents of Obama's stim packagage… and he's shown to be mentally unstable… How hard would it be for the left to paint these issues as being supported by the vast majority of Americans, that only "unstable" folks would turn down funds, in a time of need… with Sanford as the poster child…

What a disaster...

Yep, when I first saw the pic, the theme from “The Crying Game” started playing in my head.
