We started going ‘Galt’ last November.
It’s not so bad, although I need a new car soon. It will not be an Obama or union car though.

I have a 67 Camaro and a 57 Bel Air for that reason. They go up in value with time, the repairs aren’t that much worse than new cars if you do preventive maintenance, and you starve the Unions.
Is it “going-galt” or being frugal (living with less), being self reliant, buying cheap or used goods where the quality (utility matters) doesn’t really matter, or is this just ‘common sense’?
Heck I don’t NEED a lot of stuff, and don’t really care if I have most of it either, the rest I guess God will give if I really need it~!
J.S.
"New" or "replacement"? I run my Japanese cars to 250k miles. Approaching 160k on the car I bought with 56k on it.
