But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time to assert Our RIghts.

FP, I moved from the Third State to the First State three years ago when I realized NJ is a hopeless cause.
Which is too bad, because NJ is one of the most beautiful states in the Union. People only know the Turnpike and Newark, but the hinterlands in all other directions can be breathtaking.
I thought NJ would be the first bankrupt styate, but California put on a full court press and looks like they will cross the finish line first.
Here in southern Delaware the property taxes are ridicously low, no sales tax, no inheritance tax, beaches, farms, and CONSERVATIVE people, many of whom still think church is important—imagine that!
And the roads are great and the schools are great and it makes one wonder—why couldn’t NJ with all of its enormous taxes do as well?
