No respect for a woman who knows of 20+ emotional affairs (whatever), tolerates her husband begging to go see his soulmate lover, and STILL, after all the continued humiliation, stays with a man who clearly does not love her.
She isn't a bastion of conservatism- she's a Hillary Clinton clone.

Since our state has sold out to Communist Politiboro in washington, the governorship is now just a figure head, why bother to fill the position at all?

Y'know, when my husband dies I'm going to campaign to take his position as senior software engineer. Oh, and data security guru.
I mean, I was right there with him all these years and, like, I was married to him, and stuff.

Georgia didn’t vote for the False Messiah. SC won’t elect a rodent Governor unless under extremely bizarre circumstances, namely a damaged incumbent. Unless Bauer is sitting in the office next year, there won’t be an incumbent, and the national mood against the False Messiah as unemployment continues to grow well into the double digits will likely make it even harder for the Dems (that, and the fact they have no substantial first-tier candidates).

I agree, it does seem like a rite of succession. And I’m not pulling for J. Sanford to take over, I’m just saying that to me, she seems like the type who would make a sincere endeavor of everything she touched. And I’m tired of the Palin bashing and therefore, more amenable now to cheering women than I had been in the past. In the past, I never cared about gender.
