As it relates to "the same as what the rest of us will experience under his socialist schemes" -

Call your senators and ask them if they and their families will switch to the plan they want for the rest of us. If they say "No" (which they will), tell them to vote "No" on the bill. Remind them if it isn't good enough for them and their families, it isn't good enough for their constiuents either.

Actually, I propose that as a Constitutional Amendment: Congress shall make no law affecting the citizens, to which they themselves are exempt.

...or some such language.
