So, Britain has better than FOUR TIMES as many violent crimes per capita than the U.S.? That’s pretty astonishing.
Statistics can be misleading. We need to be able to talk back to them.
Firstly, what is the definiton of a “violent crime”? I dont know, but Im sure that it varies from country to country.
Secondly, this is “reported” crime. Crime is more likely to be reported these days.
Thirdly, there may be more violent crime about in the UK, but its much less likely to be lethal violent crime.
