Obama needs to designate a couple of cities -— say Philadelphia on the East coast and San Francisco on the west -— as sacrificial targets. If Osama hits them, he will have a free pass to pull out and go on living, the kind of deal we gave to Mookie in Iraq.

I agree with Scheuer and it may take more than one attack. I’ve said from the very beginning that a massive failure in national security resulting in many deaths may be the one thing that shows the zombie like masses that Obama is not up to the job. That combined with economy in the tank by the 2012 election should be his undoing.
