VIDEO: Obama: Affirmation Action Should Be Less Of An Issue Than It's Made Out To Be

AP: President Barack Obama says he's never believed that affirmative action is as much of an issue as it's been made out to be.

He says it hasn't been as "potent a force for racial progress" as its supporters have said, and that it hasn't been as bad for white students or job applicants as its critics say.

In an Associated Press interview Thursday, Obama said affirmative action can be made an "afterthought" when problems such as malnutrition, poverty and substandard schools are dealt with, and "everybody has a level playing field."

President Barack Obama said Thursday the Supreme Court had 'moved the ball' on affirmative action in a decision favoring white firefighters in New Haven, Conn., but added the court had not ruled out the use of racial preferences in the future.

Oh come on! This coming from the bozo who attended school on the affirmative action plan, who’s set up SCOTUS on the affirmative action plan, who’s the first to point a finger & yell “racist” should some disagree on the affirmative plan. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Another example of the One's "brilliance." In his dictionary, one can have a "level playing field" and give preferences at the same time.

Orwell would have had a field day with this guy.

“Malnutrition” and “poverty” are mostly the consequences of irresponsible people’s actions.

“Substandard schools”, especially inner city schools, have turned out generations of educated people who have made their mark in the world—they are currently “substandard” because they are currently populated by ignorant, rude, animalistic kids who are not interested and/or are incapable of sitting quietly and learning.

Any more questions, “Mr. President”?

Affirmative action is great! It's taught me all I ever needed to learn about discrimination and hopelessness. Sotomayor epitomizes it!

“..problems such as malnutrition, poverty and substandard schools are dealt with..”

Absolute LeftRacist mythology:

Malnutrition-Absolutely not a problem in a country whose “poor” are often upwards of 100 lbs overweight. Or are we talking about his homeland of Kenya here?

Poverty- In the US, where equality of opportunity has existed for decades, poverty is almost always by choice, and it is ALWAYS by choice among the able-bodied and able-minded.

Substandard Schools-The quality of schools is not determined by the tax base or the student/teacher ratio. It is completely dependent on the quality of students attending, more accurately the stability of their nuclear family and the emphasis put on healthy academic achievement.

Then what’s the point?

“Moved the ball”???

That’s what is supposed to happen.

It’s moving the goalposts the libs usually do.

Obama is SUCH an idiot. This is just the most recent illustration.

actually it is a problem, you can be obese and malnourished. And many are because soda, chips, pork rinds, moon pies, twinkies, frozen pizzas, candy, etc. can be bought using food stamps and school lunch aid.
Food stamps should come with cooking classes and strict guidelines on what can be purchased.

Amazing, isn't it (although almost nothing amazes me any more)...

The Idiot-In-Chief is voting "present" again.

Wherever it is that the buck stops, it's clear that it's stopping nowhere near Obama's desk...

He’s half black, half white and half arsed.

If it’s okay to discriminate against whites a little bit then it must be okay to discriminate against blacks a little bit.

Only in the interest of making certain that “everybody has a level playing field, of course.”
