But the retail sector saw its largest jump in 12 months, gaining more than 20,000 jobs on a seasonally-adjusted basis. Two other sectors - professional and business services and health care - both added more than 40,000 jobs in the month.

Mostly temporary, seasonal or jobs based on a housing bubble economy. You could have picked something that had actual long term growth. Of course, that hasn't happened for quite some time.

I would agree, but we did maintain this approximate number for about 9 months. It had dipped as low as 4.4% before shooting back up.

November? Why such a hard-on for November?

Is this supposed to make America feel good eight months later?

OOPS, I didn't see the reference to 2006!

My bad. Yup, remember the good ole days when the eeeeeeevil Republicans were in charge and were forcing businesses to make evil profits and knew how to run an economy?

Yeah, those were the days.

Ah, the good old days, before the Democrats took over Congress and destroyed our economy, an action that Obama himself says will take him years to recover from.

Although whenever we had jobs less than 150,000, CNN would remind us that we needed at least 150,000 jobs to keep everybody employed, and so they would call it a “jobless recovery”.

This was only months before the Democratic occupation of Congress. The job situation (and economy) began to suffer and turn downward after a few months of power consolidation by the coup leaders.

Notice the even deeper drop once the Kenyan was placed into power.

The kid working at Best Buy told me we needed to give Obama more time; it took the Republicans eight years to get things this bad.

I asked him if massive spending and tax hikes would help or hurt the economy. He never answered, but just looked at me like I was crazy.
