I didn't realize that Tauscher had stepped down...I looked it up and saw that she resigned to take the position of:
"Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security".

What in Sam Hill is that all about? The only good 'Arms Control and International Security' policy has been what it has always been - build better weapons, lot of them, and have well-trained forces...

Unfortunately I suspect the folks in the White House have something else in mind...

The GOP commitment to open primaries is what got us John McCain. Hillary voters crossed over and the rest is history.

If there was a way for me to hate somebody, it would be Arnold. What that man has done to California is only exceeded by Jerry Brown.

Has there been any news on the Republican plans to contest this seat, or is Steele going to give it back to Democrats without a fight?

This disctrict has Travis Air Force Base and Lawrence Livermore Nuclear Labs in its jurisdiction.
