If there had been some Republicans in Congress offering alternatives like Newt did, then perhaps Congress wouldn’t have just passed the Democrats’ unadulterated plan. Without antithesis, thesis is not subject to synthesis, and the Democrats’ plans go ahead, unaltered by Republicans.

And computerized medical records is just a good idea.

He should have held to the position that AGW was a bogus liberal position instead of giving it credence.
